Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark has made history by winning the Miss Universe 2024 title, marking the first time a Danish contestant has achieved this honour.
At just 21 years old, Theilvig, who is a competitive dancer, entrepreneur, and aspiring lawyer, triumphed over more than 120 other participants at the beauty pageant held in Mexico City on Saturday night.
As she received the crown from the current titleholder, Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua, Theilvig was met with applause from her fellow contestants on stage.
The finale featured a performance by singer Robin Thicke and was hosted by Mario Lopez, known from “Saved by the Bell,” alongside former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo.
